Report Studies Obama’s Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in Speeches

This is a report based on observation and detailed study of Obama’s speeches. By use of his word choices, patterns and repetitions, pacing, posture, gestures, and body language, these people claim he is deliberately engaging in mass hypnosis to brainwash his supporters. Before you dismiss it out of hand, take a look. I was skeptical at first but it got me to thinking. I’m really not big into conspiracy theories but this man is so mysterious, all bets are off. You can take it for what it is and make of it what you want. If you think it is total BS, then think that, if you think there might be something to it, then think that. Me, I don’t know what to think. But I do know I can’t for the life of me figure out why his followers worship him so blindly and obediently when he goes to pains to hide his past and when he speaks, he really says nothing of substance. I don’t know if the Anti-Christ is supposed to be a smooth talker and deceive the masses with his words, but when I see this man’s picture, I have to wonder.

Abortion Reduction or Pro-life Seduction?

Frustrated by their inability to attract pro-life voters to Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign with their “new approach” to abortion, left-leaning “evangelicals” like Rich Cizik and Jim Wallis are trying to change the facts and rewrite history. In today’s Boston Globe, the Sojourners president says, “The banning-abortion position… is not a realistic one in this country. It’s never going to happen… Maybe abortion reduction could result in a more pro-life outcome than taking…symbolic stances that are never going to be achieved in the U.S.”

Sojourners and its allies held a conference call this afternoon where they said, “Too many elections have been decided on the issue of abortion while the abortion rate has remained largely unchanged.” Instead, they’re offering an “alternative pro-life platform with common ground solutions.” However, statistics from Planned Parenthood’s own research center, the Guttmacher Institute, show that abortion rates have dropped significantly. In 1981, the abortion rate was 29.3 abortions per 1,000 women. That rate dropped to 19.4 per 1,000 by 2005. How did this happen? First, through a holistic pro-life approach that calls for helping tens of thousands of women each year through pregnancy care centers and public policy that respects human life.

No one refutes these absurd claims by the “life is not the issue” crowd better than Dr. Michael New. His latest paper, “Pro-Life Politicians Have Made a Difference, Pro-Life Laws Work,” does an excellent job of deconstructing Wallis’s argument that the pro-life movement has been ineffective. In the past 35 years, Dr. New demonstrates that we have made significant progress. Buying into this “alternative pro-life platform” will lead to subsidizing abortion, which Obama vows to do with your taxpayer dollars. There is no way that can possibly reduce the abortion rate. Instead, Americans will get what they pay for-and that is the death of even more innocent, unborn children.

You are no Christian, what you are is a LOSER! Not to mention, baby-killer. Your asinine stance on “containing” abortion is about as moronic a position as I have ever heard! That is like saying we can’t stop murder so let’s make some murders legal! In 1981, the abortion rate was 29.3 abortions per 1,000 women. That rate dropped to 19.4 per 1,000 by 2005. How do you explain that if you so ignorantly say the current Pro-Life method is not working? And a stupid jerk like you wants to give up and surrender to those who want to murder children?

There has been an explosion of polls this presidential election. Through yesterday, there have been 728 national polls with head-to-head matchups of the candidates, 215 in October alone. In 2004, there were just 239 matchup polls, with 67 of those in October. At this rate, there may be almost as many national polls in October of 2008 as there were during the entire year in 2004.

Some polls are sponsored by reputable news organizations, others by publicity-eager universities or polling firms on the make. None have the scientific precision we imagine.

For example, academics gathered by the American Political Science Association at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington on Aug. 31, 2000, to make forecasts declared that Al Gore would be the winner. Their models told them so. Mr. Gore would receive between 53% and 60% of the two-party vote; Gov. George W. Bush would get between just 40% and 47%. Impersonal demographic and economic forces had settled the contest, they said. They were wrong.

Polls can be misused as part of an agenda, such as liberal news organizations already calling it a done deal with their boy in the White House. They do this all the time by writing stories they want to be true and thereby making them in fact true, when people buy in and believe them. In publishing all these Hussein landslide polls over the entire course of the campaign season, they have as their agenda tricking Republicans into thinking it is already over, they lost, and there is no point in even bothering to vote. The double-edged sword flaw in this theory is that it might indeed backfire on them and keep Dimocraps home instead of voting since they have been assured it is already over and they don’t need to vote. But at the rate that I have seen Dimocraps and African-American voters going to the polls in record numbers already in early voting, added to that what ACORN has done, I don’t think we’re going to get lucky enough for the backfire effect to happen this time around.

I used to live in Texas so I know it is perfectly safe and very easy to be a Republican, conservative, Christian, etc., there. But now I live in a Blue area, a very Blue area, so Blue you might call it Dark Blue, as in almost black it is so Blue. Here I don’t have the security and peace of mind to say what I want like I did in Texas, this is a whole different ballgame and I am the visiting team. Here you have to watch what you say and who you say it to if you want to keep your friends, your job, keep your house and vehicle safe, etc. It is in fact, enemy territory. It shouldn’t be like that but it is. That is the outstanding difference between liberals and conservatives. Despite what the libs say about “diversity” and “inclusiveness” and “everybody can do their own thing,” that only works as long as the libs approve of what you do or say. We, as conservatives, are much more accommodating for liberal views than the liberals ever would be for conservative views, and I dare anyone to prove me wrong on that one. Look at what we have let the libs do to our country while we sat back and did nothing about it. So while I agree completely with social-isms, there are places in this fine country of ours where it is very hard to be a conservative, I know, I live in one. We are literally outnumbered 2 to 1 here. It is almost like you have to a secret code word or hand shake to know who is a Republican and who isn’t because if you ask a Dimocrap, you had better be prepared for a verbal backlash at the very least. That is why we have to feel each other out before we can converse on the issues. Otherwise, in this liberal environment, we can lose our jobs, promotions, friends, even go to jail for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time to the wrong person. The best I can do is work online and underground, and connect and network with other local conservatives and Republicans to discuss the issues and what ought to be done about them. Maybe if more people were to stand up and fight back, we would feel more comfortable in joining in. I know I would. But if there are only 5 of you, that you know of because others might be afraid to speak up, at a workplace of 150 and you know at least 80-100 of them are hard-core Dimocraps and that the management and ownership is totally controlled by Dimocraps, there is not a lot that you can do in that situation that won’t jeopardize your job in one way or another. That’s not the way it ought to be but that is the way it is when you live deep in enemy territory. It ain’t like it is in good old Texas. Oh, ut’s not so bad or near so hard when you have a powerful Republican president and good Republicans in control of the government, but I very much fear it will only get much, much worse for us if Hussein wins and is able to establish total control. We might have to go underground. Or go into open revolt.

I am kind of ashamed to say it, which is why I didn’t, but I live in Broward County, Florida. Right in the nexus of the Recount drama and the Hanging Chad debacle of 2000. I was there for it. In fact I live less than a quarter mile from where they did the manual recounts for the County. If you are unfamiliar, this is Dimocrap country from top to bottom, in voter registrations alone they outnumber us some 540,052 to 245,136 along with 234,353 with NPA who lean liberal. Florida might be a Red state but Broward, Palm Beach, and to a slightly lesser extent, Miami-Dade County, are all heavily Dimocrap and I believe the last I heard, those three counties contain nearly a third of the entire state’s population. I hate my state and US Congress reps because they are all Dimocraps but the Republicans can’t, or won’t, put anybody up there to run against them. I know it is sad, but I kind of wish I still lived in Texas, Arlington is where I am from, where the people were good and friendlier, the culture was more akin to my liking, the morals were stronger, etc. While there are some really good people here, the people of Texas were way better overall. That’s why I might be looking for a way out, if Hussein wins. Still love those #1 Longhorns, though.

Reality Check: The Cost Of Obama’s Pledges

Without question, the Barack Obama infomercial served as a very slick and powerful recitation of the biggest promises he’s made as a presidential candidate. But the very bigness of his ideas is the problem: he seems blind to the concept his numbers don’t add up.

Let’s start with his highly suspect, and widely discredited, claim that he can find federal “spending cuts beyond the costs” of his promises. Very few independent economists believe he has identified the savings needed to offset his remarkable list of tax credits, tax cuts and spending pledges.

Fact: Even if you believe Obama intends to fix health care, most independent analysts say the cost is massive – $1.2 trillion over ten years, according to the highly respected Lewin Group. When the new Congress wakes up next year to a $1 trillion deficit, and answers the overwhelming new demands for another stimulus package, will the leadership really bite on a health care reform package that digs the deficit hole so much deeper?

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Chad Morrisette never imagined his Halloween yard decorations would prompt interest from the Secret Service.

But apparently hanging a mannequin of GOP vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin from a noose isn’t something to be ignored.

Agents recently visited Morrisette’s home to see the display and have been trying to meet him to ensure no violent plots have been concocted, Deputy Special Agent in Charge Wayne Williams said Tuesday.

So far, he said, it seems to be a harmless — though unusual — display.

The mayor is absolutely correct, if this had been an effigy of Hussein, there would be rioting in the streets and the National Guard would have to be called out, plus whoever put it up would be literally good as dead. Yet since it is just Sarah Palin, it is no big deal to the SS. The bias extends even into the service that is supposed to protect her.

Based on the city in which this occurred it isn’t hard to figure out what kind of people these are who put it up in front of their house – West Coast Fruit, and I don’t mean oranges. I mean the kind you can find a dime a dozen in San Francisco. What really shocked me was that the mayor of this town took up Palin’s side.

Establish A Department Of Peace: National Suicide Or A Joke?

Many conservatives agree that since the mid-20th Century the federal government has grown too large, its bloated bureaucracies unaccountable to the American people and its oversight too broad vis-à-vis its constitutional prerogatives. Unfortunately, Congress soon may add a new bureaucracy to the federal government. And this would not be another run-of-the-mill bureaucracy but a perilous threat to America’s future.

Representative Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH) has proposed H.R. 808, the Department of Peace and Non-Violence Act. The bill would establish a “Department of Peace and Non-Violence…headed by a Secretary of Peace and Nonviolence appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.”

If they weren’t so serious this would be the biggest joke of the election, besides the nomination of an avowed socialist for President of the United States. I can imagine the Founding Fathers mentioned as turning over in their graves at what might become of the country they fought for and worked so hard for.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – A federal judge in Ohio has ruled that counties must allow homeless voters to list park benches and other locations that aren’t buildings as their addresses.

U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus also ruled that provisional ballots can’t be invalidated because of poll worker errors.

Monday’s ruling resolved the final two pieces of a settlement between the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless and Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.

Heck, why not let ‘em list a different bench in every city and let ‘em vote as many times as they want! They should’ve listed thier address as the zoo, or the jail.

McCain camp demands L.A. Times release video

John McCain’s campaign is demanding that the Los Angeles Times release a video of a party for a prominent Palestinian activist that Barack Obama attended in 2003.

The Times described the going-away party for former University of Chicago professor, and Obama friend, Rashid Khalidi, in a story in April. The story reported that Palestinians thought they might have a friend in Obama because of his friendships in that community, despite the fact that his positions have never been particularly pro-Palestinian.

“A major news organization is intentionally suppressing information that could provide a clearer link between Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi,” said McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb, citing Obama’s friendship with Khalidi, who is now a professor at Columbia University.

Good luck with that. I am sure it will conveniently turn up “lost.” Sometimes you can fight, but you can’t win.

I most strenuously demand that you release the tape of Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi. Otherwise it only shows that you obviously have something to hide and an undeniable bias to see that Hussein is elected president. You know very damn well if it was a tape of McCain and a Muslim you would release it with so much fanfare that the news would be heard on Mars. Yet you bury it, hide it, cover it up, to protect your Golden Boy, your False Messiah Hussein. What do you have to hide, LA Times?

We have a RIGHT TO KNOW what is on that tape! Do your job as supposedly responsible, impartial, unbiased “journalists” and tell us the TRUTH and RELEASE THE TAPE! Study: NBC News doesn’t follow MSNBC’s left drift

NEW YORK — The mix and tone of political stories on NBC News broadcasts “Nightly News” and “Today” has not been affected by cable sibling MSNBC’s move to the left during this campaign, a nonpartisan study concluded on Tuesday.

The conclusion by the Project for Excellence in Journalism bolsters the argument by NBC News executives that their straight-news broadcasts aren’t influenced by the left-wing prime-time talk shows hosted by Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow on MSNBC.

MSNBC’s left turn has caused some tensions within NBC News this fall and clearly hurt the network’s reputation with the McCain campaign.

So instead of being completely biased against McCain and the Republicans, NBC is only almost completely biased. Even the study admits McCain’s coverage has been overwhelmingly negative by all news outlets. So NBC is celebrating the fact that instead of being 100% against McCain, they are only 95%. Big deal. For the ENTIRE ELECTION, ALL MEDIA have been so overwhelmingly biased to the left against McCain and Palin that it is not funny. Yet they grovel at the feet of Hussein and the Dimocraps, kiss his jack boots and worship the ground he walks on. I have never in my life seen such undeniably biased, one-sided, prejudiced, partial so-called “reporting” as I have seen in this election cycle. The media are so much in bed with Hussein and the Dimocraps they might as well be on his payroll. Impartial, unbiased journalism means nothing to them anymore.

Gay-rights group members arrested at Waxahachie college

WAXAHACHIE, Texas — Three members of a gay-rights group on a nationwide bus tour of faith-based universities were arrested Wednesday after going to a private campus that had banned them, officials said.

Three members of Soulforce were charged with trespassing after they tried to go to a chapel service at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, a 1,900-student Pentecostal school, according to the Waxahachie Police Department. Their bond was to be set at an arraignment Wednesday afternoon.

McDonald’s nearly set to swap double burger

McDonald’s Corp. said Tuesday it’s moving toward replacing its hallmark dollar-menu product, the double cheeseburger, with a new burger called the McDouble, essentially the double cheeseburger, but with one slice of cheese.

Although the decision is not yet final, the recommended price of the double cheeseburger—the one with two cheese slices—would increase to $1.19, said Greg Watson, vice president of marketing for McDonald’s USA. The switch stems from soaring commodity costs, which have reduced profits from the dollar menu.

How soon will there even be a Dollar Menu? Soon somebody, McD’s, BK, Wendy’s, will go to a Two Dollar Menu and then the rest will follow suit, and while they rake in the big profits selling a 35 cent burger for $2, the rest of us go poor and hungry. New Mexico newspaper headline: ‘Obama wins’

A New Mexico paper has declared Barack Obama the next POTUS!

The New Mexico Sun News printed the headline “Obama Wins” in its election edition on stands today, with “Special Collectors Edition” printed in bold red type.

Seems the Sun News is a bimonthly newspaper and the Oct. 26-Nov. 8 issue had to hit the streets — and the newsstands — before the election.

So, based on the polls, the editors made a logical leap of faith and declared Democrat Barack Obama the winner.

I certainly hope that comes true.

I think the media’s intent, however, was to discourage Repubicans from voting by feeding them a line that it wouldn’t matter becaus they were going to lose. They have been so overwhelmingly and unprofessionally biased in favor of Hussein for the entire election process. Fake ‘Obama money’ appears at McCain office in Boca Raton

There are political cartoons, newspaper clippings and funny photo montages: Barack Obama with a Sarah Palin wig and glasses, “Nobama” bumper stickers — all part of volunteers’ efforts to keep up good humor at the McCain campaign office in Boca Raton.

Amid all this, there’s two $3 bills of “Obama Money.”

The two fake bills depict Obama wearing a beret, very much Che Guevara-style, while the other has him wearing a traditional Arab head scarf — and underneath it reads “Da Man.”

Typical of the Dimocraps. They sure can dish it out but they can’t take it. Republican warning: Don’t trust Postal Service with absentee ballots

Broward Republican Party leaders are warning the party faithful not to trust the Postal Service with their absentee ballots.

The outside of the absentee ballot envelopes are marked “Dem” or “Rep,” depending on the party registration of the voter, and the party leaders said the Republican designation means something may happen to the ballots.

“This is a shame that we cannot trust the postal people,” said Colleen Stolberg, the absentee ballot chairwoman for the Broward Republican Party. “These people are stealing votes from us.”

“What? I have to take a picture of them voting,” Soufrine said. “It’s historical.”

She wasn’t allowed to take in her camera, but Soufrine — the media specialist at Nova High School in Davie — was able to help her students make history, accompanying them to the polls on Monday in an early voting effort organized by the Broward County School District and the Supervisor of Elections.

Broward eases rules for ‘no match’ voters at polls

Broward County has changed its policy and will allow a one-stop Election Day option for its 1,600-plus ”unverified” voters. That adds Broward to the list of counties, including Miami-Dade, that will buck state recommendations for handling residents flagged by the controversial Florida Voter Verification Law.

The state’s final unverified list, released Monday, leaves the voting status of more than 12,000 newly registered voters in limbo unless they can clear up identification mismatches in driver’s license and Social Security databases.

So all you have to do to vote illegally in Dade County is to get a copy of a fake drivers license or fake social security card. And now it is almost as easy in Broward. Newspapers see sharp circulation drop of 4.6 pct

NEW YORK (AP) — Circulation at the nation’s daily newspapers is falling faster than anticipated this year as readers continue their migration to the Internet and papers narrow their distribution to cut costs.

The development, which compounds the fiscal challenge of plummeting advertising revenue, was revealed Monday when the Audit Bureau of Circulations released sales totals reported by newspapers for April through September.

Combined weekday circulation of all 507 papers that reported circulation totals this year and last averaged 38,165,848 in the six months ending in September, 4.6 percent below 40,022,356 a year earlier. The aggregate drop was only 2.6 percent in the September 2007 period, compared with September 2006.

Perhaps people are tired of reading nothing but biased, liberal BS in their papers instead of fair, balanced, and impartial news. The only reason I ever pick up a paper someone else paid for, either at work or some public place like a library or a restaurant, is to read the sports and the local news, which is biased to the left enough, even without the national and world news. Perhaps if papers were to go back to printing facts instead of opinions and personal agendas to shift public opinion and society in general to the liberal left, they would sell more copies. Inspector general probing checks on Joe the plumber

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio’s inspector general is investigating why state computers were used to find personal information on “Joe the Plumber.”

Investigators are trying to determine whether computer systems were illegally accessed to retrieve information about Toledo-area plumber Joe Wurzelbacher (wur-zuhl-BAHK’-ur).

Helen Jones-Kelly, state Department of Job and Family Services director, says she approved a check after the Oct. 15 presidential debate to see whether Wurzelbacher was current on child support payments. She says there were no political reasons behind the decision.

Republican John McCain repeatedly cited Wurzelbacher’s concerns over Democrat Barack Obama’s tax proposals in that debate.

One of the biggest and most long-lasting “changes” to expect if Barack Obama becomes President of the United States is in the kinds of federal judges he appoints. These include Supreme Court justices, as well as other federal justices all across the country, all of whom will have lifetime tenure.

Senator Obama has stated very clearly what kinds of Supreme Court justices he wants– those with “the empathy to understand what it’s like to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled, or old.”

Like so many things that Obama says, it may sound nice if you don’t stop and think– and chilling if you do stop and think. Do we really want judges who decide cases based on who you are, rather than on the facts and the law?

Lifetime appointment for judges is a double-edged sword. It is like playing the lottery, if a judge retires while you are in office, you hit the jackpot and get to appoint a like-minded individual who will carry on your ideas for life or as long as he serves. I believe these appointments, especially to the Supreme Court, carry as much, if not more weight, than who sits in the Oval Office for only 4 or 8 years. That is why it is imperative to keep Hussein out of there. Otherwise we will be stuck with a far-left, ultra-liberal Supreme Court ignoring the Constitution and legislating from the bench for years and generations to come.

Perhaps it is time to go to elected judges that serve definite, time-limited terms, like most state judges do. But of course, that will never happen.

I am sincerely worried that if Obama wins, the checks and balances incorporated into our Constitution may not be enough to prevent a radical and irreversible diminution of our individual liberties because a confluence of factors has emerged to create a climate conducive to fundamental change.

These factors are: a shockingly unknown candidate, whose mysterious past and numerous shady alliances are deliberately left unexplored by a corrupt, supportive media; the candidate’s charismatic qualities that inspire a cultish loyalty; his intellectual trappings that create a fascination and allure among the intellectual elite, including some hypnotized conservatives; a major financial crisis that exacerbates the people’s fears and uncertainties; a largely manufactured cloud of negativity placed over America by the media and a grossly partisan Democratic Party that places its self-interest above the national interest; and an apparently discredited Republican Party and conservative movement that have been blamed for our actual and perceived problems.

All of these could lead to entrusting this man with unprecedented power, giving him a license to operate with minimum scrutiny and an opposition party effectively impotent to oppose his radical blueprint for America.

He is absolutely correct, it was a “perfect storm” of political, social, and economic situations that has enabled an undeniable socialist, and probably a communist, to be on the verge of conquering the US and irrevocably transforming it into a socialist, if not a fascist, state.

But to experience a McCain rally in recent days is to be reminded of the country’s deeply polarized electorate. The argument that Barack Obama is a closet socialist has taken hold among some of Mr. McCain’s voters, who erupt into loud applause when Mr. McCain offers his antidote to Mr. Obama’s plan to hike taxes on the wealthy.

“We have a clear choice,” said Darry Ferguson, an engineer who attended a McCain rally on Friday in Durango, Colo. “Do we want to give our country to socialism? Or do we want to keep our free enterprise?”

Senator Obama’s Four Tax Increases for People Earning Under $250k

I confess. Senator Obama’s two tax promises: to limit tax increases to only those making over $250,000 a year, and to not raise taxes on 95% of “working Americans,” intrigued me. As a hard-working small business owner, over the past ten years I’ve earned from $50,000 to $100,000 per year. If Senator Obama is shooting straight with us, under his presidency I could look forward to paying no additional Federal taxes — I might even get a break — and as I struggle to support a family and pay for two boys in college, a reliable tax freeze is nearly as welcome as further tax cuts.

However, Senator Obama’s dual claims seemed implausible, especially when it came to my Federal income taxes. Those implausible promises made me look at what I’d been paying before President Bush’s 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, as well as what I paid after those tax cuts became law. I chose the 2000 tax tables as my baseline — they reflect the tax rates that Senator Obama will restore by letting the “Bush Tax Cuts” lapse. I wanted to see what that meant from my tax bill.

This is the same comical arrogance and blatant, in-your-face lies I see from this little puke, Bill Burton. I bet he suffers big time from Little Man Syndrome. Can you imagine how horribly comical press conferences will be with this rude, little craphead in charge?

I have come to the very disheartening conclusion that no matter how loud we scream, how much noise we make, how many times we tell people, no matter what we do, they won’t listen because they don’t want to and they don’t care. If Hussein was to say the sky was red instead of blue, they would lay down and worship at his feet. If he said the world was flat, they would oooh and aaaah and lick his jack boots. If he said the US and the Constitution was bad (actually he already has), they would say he was the Second Coming. Unfortunately we are dealing with a plethora of brain-dead, mindless zombies who are brainwashed by the obedient, fawning, liberal media into worshipping the Cult of Obama. We would have better luck trying to convince the door or the floor to not vote for this false Messiah.

The country is adrift and lost at sea with no compass and no way to navigate, and they are grasping for this lifeboat called Hussein, that is nothing more than a liferaft with huge, leaky holes in it that will sink and take them to the bottom of the sea.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Barack Obama’s qualifications to be president.

U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick on Friday night rejected the suit by attorney Philip J. Berg, who alleged that Obama was not a U.S. citizen and therefore ineligible for the presidency. Berg claimed that Obama is either a citizen of his father’s native Kenya or became a citizen of Indonesia after he moved there as a boy.

Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father. His parents divorced and his mother married an Indonesian man.

Internet-fueled conspiracy theories question whether Obama is a “natural-born citizen” as required by the Constitution for a presidential candidate and whether he lost his citizenship while living abroad.

Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was “too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters.”

I could see this one coming a mile away. No, make that a hundred miles away. Obviously this so-called “judge” is a liberal, probably Dimocrapic appointee, who has no clue or care about the Constitution. If you think things are bad now when a citizen of the United States can’t bring to court his fears that his own country’s Constitution is being defied, then wait until Hussein is in office. After releasing this morning’s numbers showing McCain ahead in Ohio and Florida, the Strategic Vision polling company received several death threats through the contact e-mail on the company’s web site.

David Johnson, the CEO of Strategic Vision, shared the messages with National Review Online.

One of the messages stated:

My goodness, your polls stinks. There are 3 polls that have Obama by double digits and only yours has Obama down. WOW!. How come your poll is the only one giving Palin high favor ratings? I think you nee dto be careful tonight when you get in your car and might want to check underneath your car. SCRAP YOUR IDIOTIC POLLS OR ELSE!

Not only does the fear factor in with the pollsters, it happens with the potential voters, too. I live in a very, very liberal-dominated, Dimocrapic stronghold and I have learned to watch what I say to whom I talk to unless I am very sure they are safe to reveal my political leanings to. It certainly isn’t right but political intimidation factors heavily into people’s lives when they live deep inside enemy territory. Think of Hollywood for example, which is so dominated by ultra-arch-liberals that conservatives and Republicans are deathly afraid to voice their allegiances for fear of never working again. I have had my share of getting jumped on by rabid liberal co-workers. I admire the courage and thick skin of those who are able to stand up to the liberal mobs. I would move to a more conservative part of the country but I can’t stand cold winters, if that gives you any clue as to where I reside. I know for a fact that there are a lot more conservatives out there but are too afraid to show it for fear of appearing politically incorrect or racist or just don’t want to put up with crap from liberal and Dimocrap neighbors and co-workers who are so convinced that their way is the only way that all they can do is attack instead of discuss politely.

October 24 was U.N. day, celebrated by many as the birthday of the United Nations. In its 63 years of operation, it has spent untold billions of dollars in its quest to create global governance. Its goal is almost in its grasp. European leaders are pushing for a summit meeting with President Bush to create a new global “central bank,” with the authority to control global monetary policy in much the same way U.S. monetary policy is controlled by the Federal Reserve.

The U.N. has failed miserably at most of its major projects. Its first task, to create a two-state solution in Palestine in 1948, was a disaster. Other projects have been even worse. The genocide in Rwanda; the Oil-for-food scam with Saddam Hussein; and the on-going sex abuse by U.N. Peacekeepers are but a few examples.

The UN is one of, it not the, most worthless, useless, wasteful, arrogant organizations on earth, if not in the history of the earth. I am so disgusted and angry that any of my tax money goes to this bloated, socialist, communist, anti-American body. As you can tell, I hate the UN and detest everything it stands for. I feel that we should not give them one red cent. In fact we need to take back money we have given. After all what do we get for our “investment” in the UN through artificially high “dues?” We get defeated in votes in both the Insecurity Council and the General Assembly, we provide a forum for nations that hate us and oppose us and wish to see us dead to spout forth their anti-American hatred and bile, we are accessories to abortion, we send billions out of the country when there are poor and starving citizens in our own country who need help.

The UN should be abolished and disbanded. If we can’t have that, then at least the US should withdraw all funds and support until they are less wasteful, less biased and political, more streamlined and accountable, and cooperate with us more often. Much more often. The US sending dues to the UN is like somebody paying a neighbor to hate them and verbally and physically harass them at all hours.

Of course, Hussein’s ultimate aim, as illustrated by his campaigning in Berlin, is to be King of the World, so he will bring the US into tighter and tighter control of the UN, the World Courts, and International Law, instead of US law, which will provide him with a smoother transition to running the world instead of just the US.

When I brought this up with my state’s US Senators, the Republican said it was necessary to do and the Dimocrap didn’t even deem it worthy to reply to.

I just love the hypocrisy of the Commiecrats. DNC chairman Howard Dean said, “on the issue of abortion. This is a personal decision that the government does not have the right to make.” Yet the damned Dimocraps think it is perfectly proper for the government to make the decision on what pastors can say from the pulpit or what you and I are allowed to think and say to express our religious beliefs. For example they say the government is right to force citizens to put aside their personal and religious convictions and be forced to accept homosexuality and other immorality. They say the government doesn’t have the right to stop the murder of innocent children but has the right to make you give accommodations to homosexuals above and beyond what other citizens get, and in fact give them special rights and treat them better. When it is convenient for them, these hypocrites say government must not interfere, but when it comes to one of their liberal or social issues they say the government MUST interfere. I really, really hate the Dimocraps. And I mean with a passion.

Many on the Left are hopeful that this election will drive the nail in the coffin of the conservative movement. There is some cause for legitimate concern among conservatives. No matter who wins the election, conservatives will have a more difficult time making our influence felt than at any time in recent memory.

For all his many admirable qualities, John McCain has never been a movement conservative. If he’s elected he will be just as interested in forging bipartisan compromise as he will be in standing on conservative principle.

If Barack Obama becomes president, conservatives will have a convenient foil. But the weakness of our movement now makes it less likely that conservatives will be effective in stopping the worst excesses of an Obama administration. The Obama-Reid-Pelosi juggernaut will likely roll over any conservative opposition, unless conservatives come together and bring the American people with them.

While this is a nice thought, I more subscribe to the theory that a Hussein presidency will be the ultimate end to the US as we know it and as it has been since it existed. Instead we will become just another second-rate socialist state at best and at worst, a fascist, communist dictatorship with Hussein as The Leader and the Dimocraps as The Party. I fear that in only a few months in office with both houses of Congress in control of the Dimocraps and the media firmly in Hussein’s pocket, the damage will be done so swiftly, so deeply, and so irrevocably, that there will never, ever be a chance to bring America back to what it once was. We will be doomed. He will use not only the power of the federal government and the courts but the media as well to crush all dissent with brutal force in carrying out his dismembering and socialization of the US. There are two reasons the Black Dog Republicans fell prey to a depression equal to Churchill’s. First is the constant chatter of the media, the Republican elite, and the Cassandra Republicans who are just as sure that John McCain will lose the election as they are that Sarah Palin is his ruination. The second is that a lot of people are simply so angry at the Bush administration that otherwise sensible people are transferring their anger to John McCain or falling for Barack’s baloney.

To be honest, I have caught Black Dog Fever. Every now and then you might read about it but since the main stream media kneels at his feet and licks his jack boots, you don’t get much coverage on it because they cover it up and omit it. As reported by Fox News, during a campaign event in Ohio, Obama was peppered with questions from a local plumber who asked, “Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” The plumber was complaining (as I often do) that he is “being taxed more and more for fulfilling the American dream.”

The poll of 400 likely voters was conducted for the Tribune-Review on Tuesday, amid uproar over Murtha’s statement that some of his constituents are racist.

Stanley Shemanski, 67, a retired meat cutter who lives in Apollo, said he’s undecided about the congressional race. He doesn’t know much about Russell, but he’s upset with Murtha’s comment that racism in the district could hurt Democrat Barack Obama’s chances.

A plethora of articles have been written about the death of the Democratic Party, or as some bloggers and Clinton Supporters state; the coup or hostile takeover by the liberal left wing of the democratic party. They cannot believe that their party has now become the party of violence, sexism, misogyny, racism, thuggery, deceits corruption, caucus fraud, and voter registration fraud. What is missing from the equation is that this is not the liberal left wing; far from it, this is a group of people with socialist/marxist beliefs, with a pinch of fascism thrown in, being led by the marketed messiah under the guise of “progressivism”, with a belief system that states the ends justify the means.

Centrist dems and all other Americans must stop looking at the current Democratic Party through the perception they have of what the Democratic Party once meant. That party is dead and was buried on May 31st, 2008. Once this perception is shattered, these dems, undecided voters, former Clinton dems and possibly even some Obama dems may flip their votes, and more importantly, their loyalty away from the party that has become the proverbial wolf in sheep’s clothing. What is being uncovered may also explain why 90% of the African American population is voting for this candidate, and though some of it has to do with his race, more maybe because of his socialist philosophy.

Wow, that was one heck of a read, almost too much to take in at one time. Too bad not many people will get to hear this information with the way the media is in Hussein’s back pocket. Very, very good article, and very, very true. I had a real estate broker tell me very nearly the exact same thing. They neglect to tell you that Orson Scott Card is also an accomplished novelist in several different genres ranging from science fiction to Biblical. I didn’t know he was a Mormon until I read this, though, not that there is anything wrong with that. I thoroughly enjoy reading his novels.

I remember reading All the President’s Men and thinking: That’s journalism. You do what it takes to get the truth and you lay it before the public, because the public has a right to know.

This housing crisis didn’t come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration.

It was a direct result of the political decision, back in the late 1990s, to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor people. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to approve risky loans.

What is a risky loan? It’s a loan that the recipient is likely not to be able to repay.

The goal of this rule change was to help the poor — which especially would help members of minority groups. But how does it help these people to give them a loan that they can’t repay? They get into a house, yes, but when they can’t make the payments, they lose the house — along with their credit rating.

They end up worse off than before.

This was completely foreseeable and in fact many people did foresee it. One political party, in Congress and in the executive branch, tried repeatedly to tighten up the rules. The other party blocked every such attempt and tried to loosen them.

Furthermore, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were making political contributions to the very members of Congress who were allowing them to make irresponsible loans. (Though why quasi-federal agencies were allowed to do so baffles me. It’s as if the Pentagon were allowed to contribute to the political campaigns of Congressmen who support increasing their budget.)

Isn’t there a story here? Doesn’t journalism require that you who produce our daily paper tell the truth about who brought us to a position where the only way to keep confidence in our economy was a $700 billion bailout? Aren’t you supposed to follow the money and see which politicians were benefiting personally from the deregulation of mortgage lending?

I have no doubt that if these facts had pointed to the Republican Party or to John McCain as the guilty parties, you would be treating it as a vast scandal. “Housing-gate,” no doubt. Or “Fannie-gate.”

Instead, it was Senator Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank, both Democrats, who denied that there were any problems, who refused Bush administration requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and who were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the minute they failed.

As Thomas Sowell points out in a TownHall.com essay entitled “Do Facts Matter?” ( http://snipurl.com/457townhall_com] ): “Alan Greenspan warned them four years ago. So did the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to the President. So did Bush’s Secretary of the Treasury.”

These are facts. This financial crisis was completely preventable. The party that blocked any attempt to prevent it was … the Democratic Party. The party that tried to prevent it was … the Republican Party.

Yet when Nancy Pelosi accused the Bush administration and Republican deregulation of causing the crisis, you in the press did not hold her to account for her lie. Instead, you criticized Republicans who took offense at this lie and refused to vote for the bailout!

What? It’s not the liar, but the victims of the lie who are to blame?

Now let’s follow the money … right to the presidential candidate who is the number-two recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae.

And after Freddie Raines, the CEO of Fannie Mae who made $90 million while running it into the ground, was fired for his incompetence, one presidential candidate’s campaign actually consulted him for advice on housing.

If that presidential candidate had been John McCain, you would have called it a major scandal and we would be getting stories in your paper every day about how incompetent and corrupt he was.

But instead, that candidate was Barack Obama, and so you have buried this story, and when the McCain campaign dared to call Raines an “adviser” to the Obama campaign — because that campaign had sought his advice — you actually let Obama’s people get away with accusing McCain of lying, merely because Raines wasn’t listed as an official adviser to the Obama campaign.

You would never tolerate such weasely nit-picking from a Republican.

If you who produce our local daily paper actually had any principles, you would be pounding this story, because the prosperity of all Americans was put at risk by the foolish, short-sighted, politically selfish, and possibly corrupt actions of leading Democrats, including Obama.

If you who produce our local daily paper had any personal honor, you would find it unbearable to let the American people believe that somehow Republicans were to blame for this crisis.

There are precedents. Even though President Bush and his administration never said that Iraq sponsored or was linked to 9/11, you could not stand the fact that Americans had that misapprehension — so you pounded us with the fact that there was no such link. (Along the way, you created the false impression that Bush had lied to them and said that there was a connection.)

If you had any principles, then surely right now, when the American people are set to blame President Bush and John McCain for a crisis they tried to prevent, and are actually shifting to approve of Barack Obama because of a crisis he helped cause, you would be laboring at least as hard to correct that false impression.

Your job, as journalists, is to tell the truth. That’s what you claim you do, when you accept people’s money to buy or subscribe to your paper.

But right now, you are consenting to or actively promoting a big fat lie — that the housing crisis should somehow be blamed on Bush, McCain, and the Republicans. You have trained the American people to blame everything bad — even bad weather — on Bush, and they are responding as you have taught them to.

If you had any personal honor, each reporter and editor would be insisting on telling the truth — even if it hurts the election chances of your favorite candidate.

Because that’s what honorable people do. Honest people tell the truth even when they don’t like the probable consequences. That’s what honesty means . That’s how trust is earned.

Barack Obama is just another politician, and not a very wise one. He has revealed his ignorance and naivete time after time — and you have swept it under the rug, treated it as nothing.

Meanwhile, you have participated in the borking of Sarah Palin, reporting savage attacks on her for the pregnancy of her unmarried daughter — while you ignored the story of John Edwards’s own adultery for many months.

So I ask you now: Do you have any standards at all? Do you even know what honesty means?

Is getting people to vote for Barack Obama so important that you will throw away everything that journalism is supposed to stand for?

You might want to remember the way the National Organization of Women threw away their integrity by supporting Bill Clinton despite his well-known pattern of sexual exploitation of powerless women. Who listens to NOW anymore? We know they stand for nothing; they have no principles.

That’s where you are right now.

It’s not too late. You know that if the situation were reversed, and the truth would damage McCain and help Obama, you would be moving heaven and earth to get the true story out there.

If you want to redeem your honor, you will swallow hard and make a list of all the stories you would print if it were McCain who had been getting money from Fannie Mae, McCain whose campaign had consulted with its discredited former CEO, McCain who had voted against tightening its lending practices.

Then you will print them, even though every one of those true stories will point the finger of blame at the reckless Democratic Party, which put our nation’s prosperity at risk so they could feel good about helping the poor, and lay a fair share of the blame at Obama’s door.

You will also tell the truth about John McCain: that he tried, as a Senator, to do what it took to prevent this crisis. You will tell the truth about President Bush: that his administration tried more than once to get Congress to regulate lending in a responsible way.

This was a Congress-caused crisis, beginning during the Clinton administration, with Democrats leading the way into the crisis and blocking every effort to get out of it in a timely fashion.

If you at our local daily newspaper continue to let Americans believe — and vote as if — President Bush and the Republicans caused the crisis, then you are joining in that lie.

If you do not tell the truth about the Democrats — including Barack Obama — and do so with the same energy you would use if the miscreants were Republicans — then you are not journalists by any standard.

You’re just the public relations machine of the Democratic Party, and it’s time you were all fired and real journalists brought in, so that we can actually have a news paper in our city.

10-22-08 Hussein, McCain, Electoral College, etc.

What I don’t understand is why so much of the upper, upper class, the so-called 5% that would see their taxes rise, support Hussein? If you look at the super-wealthy, the actors, the directors and producers, the music stars, that support him, they would supposedly see their taxes skyrocket under Hussein, yet they pump millions into his campaign. Why? What do they get out of it? Are they somehow exempt from his higher taxes through their support? Does he intend to provide an unseen loophole to these people?

On Hussein and his lack of a valid Hawaiian birth certificate:

Why doesn’t Hussein just show the damn birth certificate and be done with it? That is what makes me suspect there must be some kernel of truth there in all the legal mumbo jumbo. But of course, people with all the money, connections, and media support like Hussein has, can get away with anything, and I mean anything, so he can pull off coming up with a faked birth certificate that the liberal courts and the media will accept as genuine and this will just become another conspiracy mystery with no definite answer, like who killed JFK. While this might be a battle worth fighting, I doubt the truth will ever win out, not with all the lawyers and pols fighting it and the media obfuscating, lying, and covering it up.

I don’t know who to give credit to where credit is due, but this story is awesome:

The Ant & The Grasshopper:
OLD VERSION: The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION : The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green.’

Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house where the news stations film the group singing, ‘We shall overcome.’ Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper’s sake.

Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.
Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed from a list of single-parent welfare recipients.

The ant loses the case.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant’s food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant’s old house, crumbles around him because he doesn’t maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

Tallahassee- Tonight, as the first pitch of the 2008 World Series is thrown in St. Petersburg, Florida, the Republican Party of Florida highlights Senator Obama’s Top 10 flip-flops:

10. In June 2008, after the Supreme Court made its ruling, Barack Obama said the D.C. handgun ban was unconstitutional. However, in late 2007, his campaign released a statement that said “Obama believes the D.C. handgun law is constitutional.” [10]

9. Senator Obama constantly rails against Big Oil and the tax breaks they receive. As it turns out, Senator Obama voted in favor of the 2005 Bush-Cheney Energy Bill that gave billions of dollars in tax breaks to Big Oil companies. [9]

8. Barack Obama claims to have been a longtime advocate for public financing — and he even agreed to accept it during the presidential campaign, but he broke his promise when he saw an opportunity to gain a political advantage. While John McCain releases information on all his donors, Senator Obama is hiding information about many of his donors. [8]

7. During the Democratic primary, Senator Obama said “I don’t think NAFTA has been good for America, and I never have.” Now, Senator Obama says his anti-NAFTA rhetoric during the campaign was overheated and that NAFTA has been positive for the U.S. in many ways. [7]

6. At the annual AIPAC Policy Conference in June, Barack Obama said he supported Jerusalem being the “undivided” capital of Israel. In what might have been the quickest flip-flop in American politics, Obama said the very next day that he only meant the city should not be divided by barbed wire. [6]

5. In 2004, Obama said that it was time “to end the embargo with Cuba.” When he decided to run for the president in 2007, however, Obama changed course and said he would not “take off the embargo” as president because it is “an important inducement for change.” [5]

4. Senator Obama said repeatedly in the Democratic presidential debates that he would meet with leaders of State Sponsors of Terrorism “without precondition.” Since then, he has backtracked, and he now says he has always believed there should be preparations for such meetings. [4]

The Baby Bounty

Women certainly don’t profit from abortion, but the Quality Inn in Maple Shade, New Jersey does. In a story that has rattled the local community, New Jersey Right to Life confirmed this week that two area hotels are offering discounted rooms to women who can prove they’ve had an abortion. Both the Clarion Hotel in Cherry Hill and the Quality Inn in Maple Shade reduce room rates by up to $50 for girls with a receipt from the nearby abortion center. The Quality Inn even goes so far as to give away “free pancake and egg breakfasts” to girls who can produce a stamped clinic pamphlet.

According to volunteers from the area’s “40 Days for Life” campaign, many of the patients leaving the Cherry Hill clinic are “alone, crying, and in extreme pain.” After their digoxin injections, these mothers are sent home or to area hotels to wait for their babies to die. The next day, they return to the clinic to deliver their dead children. Do these area inns really want to facilitate the killing process? And, from a legal standpoint, are they prepared to incur the liability if any medical complications arise? Unfortunately, the reason these women need a place to stay is because the clinics don’t care enough about their health to monitor them overnight, despite the medical risks. That should be a clear signal to these hotels that local abortionists are harming women.

Of course, the hotels may honestly believe that theirs is a compassionate offer. But even with the best of intentions, a discount like this only makes it more affordable for young girls to cross state lines for an abortion. As the Right to Life branch accurately points out, New Jersey doesn’t have a parental notification law on the books, making it an even more attractive location for young girls who want to obtain an abortion without ever calling home.

Poll Suggests U.S. Troops Support McCain 3-1

A poll by the Military Times newspaper group suggests that there is overwhelming support for John McCain among U.S. troops in every branch of the armed forces by a nearly 3-1 margin.

According to the poll, 68 percent of active-duty and retired servicemen and women support McCain, while 23 percent support Barack Obama. The numbers are nearly identical among officers and enlisted troops.

The Military Times, which publishes the Army Times, Navy Times, Marine Corps Times and Air Force Times, polled 80,000 subscribers from Sept 22 to Sept. 29. The non-scientific survey gathered 4,300 respondents — all of them registered and eligible to vote.

A racial divide was immediately evident among the respondents. Nearly eight in 10 black servicemembers chose Obama, while McCain captured 76 percent of white voters and 63 percent of Hispanic voters.

The military have always traditionally supported the Republican candidate in all the presidential elections I’ve been aware of, so this shouldn’t be much of a surprise. They intrinsically know who is better prepared to allow them to protect America. Let’s just hope all of these good people get the chance to vote absentee and that their votes are counted.

McCain Campaign Plays Hardball With NBC News, Media

John McCain’s campaign seems to be playing a little hardball with the media in the final two weeks of the presidential race.

The campaign on Tuesday issued a statement decrying NBC News for its “apparent refusal” to air Joe Biden’s controversial remarks that Barack Obama would face a “generated crisis” early on if he is elected.

“Biden’s remarks capture perfectly the message of this campaign: Barack Obama is too risky, too inexperienced, to serve as commander in chief — that his election by itself will provoke our enemies, and that his brief record raises serious questions as to how an Obama administration would respond to such a challenge,” McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb said in the written statement.

He should’ve been doing this all along. Now that his back is up against the wall, he sees that he has to. To me, to have been a war hero, he sure hasn’t demonstrated to me much backbone in standing up to the Husseini lies.

I NEVER wanted McCain to be the GOP nominee, anybody but him. He was too much like a Dimocrap, which is precisely why the left-wing, liberal, biased media chose him to be the GOP nominee, just like they are choosing Hussein to be the president.

I personally can’t stand McCain, yet I will wholeheartedly vote for him to keep Hussein out of the White House. It is literally choosing the lesser of two evils, and Hussein is the most evil candidate ever in the history of the US to run for president. While a McCain presidency might be like taking a picnic at the dump, a Hussein presidency will be like taking a picnic in Hell. Literally.

Police prepare for unrest

Police departments in cities across the country are beefing up their ranks for Election Day, preparing for possible civil unrest and riots after the historic presidential contest.

Public safety officials said in interviews with The Hill that the election, which will end with either the nation’s first black president or its first female vice president, demanded a stronger police presence.

Some worry that if Barack Obama loses and there is suspicion of foul play in the election, violence could ensue in cities with large black populations. Others based the need for enhanced patrols on past riots in urban areas (following professional sports events) and also on Internet rumors.

I, too, read where there will be massive rioting in the streets whether Hussein wins or loses, just like there are riots in college sports towns when a team wins a national championship. Places like Watts, Southside Chicago, Liberty City, will burn their own neighborhoods and businesses down either in celebration or angry defiance. We won’t have to worry about terrorists on that day, we (well, some of us, anyway) will be our own worst enemies. Then you will have the Jacksons and the Sharptons raising all kinds of Hell about the police and their reactions to protect lives and property and maintain civil order. With apologies to Joe Biden, that might be Hussein’s first test, assuming the communist wins.

Is it time to scrap the Electoral College?

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Is the Electoral College, America’s quirky system of choosing its presidents, on its way to extinction?

Americans do not vote directly for president. They vote for slates of electors in each state.

Collectively, the electors are called the Electoral College. Each state gets a number of electors equal to its membership in the House and Senate. (The District of Columbia gets three.)

I used to think the EC should be abolished, but I have changed my mind. There is a second way to nullify its implications though. I remember reading somebody in some state or states was pushing a state law that would require that state’s electoral votes be divided among the candidates by the percentage of the popular vote they received in that state. For a simple example, if a state had 10 EC votes and Candidate A received 60% of the state’s popular votes, he would by law receive 6 of the state’s electoral votes, and likewise, Candidate B would receive 4 for getting 40% of the vote. I suppose that effort went nowhere (for now) but can you imagine how tricky that would make things for everybody, including the media trying to influence and then call the election? As it was stated earlier, once in the EC, the electors can vote however they want. I remember one time when I was a kid, I think it was in the Reagan years, or even before that, an elector made a mistake and voted for the wrong candidate, so the VP-elect received one less electoral vote than the President-elect. Of course it didn’t affect the outcome but things like that can, and have happened before.

As a sci-fi writer I can envision a future where the Dimocraps have abolished the College and now only a few big states and really only cities within them, decide who is president for everybody else. The small states get fed up with their disenfranchisement and secede to form their own more perfect government. Then you either have a new Civil War or you have two different nations where one once stood, one a populous, mighty industrial and financial giant, and the other a less populous, poorer collection of agricultural and undeveloped regions.

Joe Biden says he’s certain that if Barack Obama is elected president, there will be an international crisis to test his strength within the first 6 months of his presidency.

“Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.” he told a fundraising crowd in the Pacific Northwest on Sunday. “Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

We already had a generated crisis to ensure the election of Hussein and it was called the Housing Bubble Meltdown and subsequent economic collapse. That must have been years in the making and they got the timing down perfectly. I don’t think the enemies are smarter than we are, just more evil and devious, a deadly combination.

For Conservatives, Obama’s Changes Would Be Permanent and Devastating

Some conservative activists, despairing (prematurely) about the chances for victory on November 4th, argue that an Obama win could be a blessing in disguise. According to this logic, The One would occupy the White House for only One term and whatever big government, liberal programs he managed to enact could be swiftly repealed by some future “true conservative” champion.

Yes, it’s true that some changes by liberal presidents can be erased by future conservatives – for instance, George W. Bush cut the top marginal tax rate to 35%, after it had risen to 39.6% under Clinton (it’s sure to go back up to the Clinton rate – or higher – under Obama). Yes, the President and Congress tinker endlessly with details of the tax system or the levels of appropriation or regulation so that the growth in government and spending under President Obama could be adjusted after his departure, if not reversed.

Every single word Mr. Medved writes is absolutely and undeniably true. A Hussein presidency will be unequivocally and irreversibly the end of the United States. We will decline from the only true world superpower under Ronald Reagan to just another second-rate socialist state at best and into a fascist, communist police state at worst. There will be no way to undue the damage this demon Hussein will do to our once proud democracy. Krushchev might have passed on but in the end the communists did bury us under the boot heel of a new Leader named Hussein. The only hope standing between us and this apocalypse, the true death of America, is a very tenuous thread called John McCain. I only pray at least twice a day that God will pull a miracle out of His hat and give us another chance by not allowing Hussein to win. On the other hand, I feel He might be fed up with the rampant immorality and evil that pervades this country from Washington, DC, to Hollywood, that we allowed to sneak in the back door while we slept, and let us receive the punishment we deserve, and I can’t think of a worse punishment for this country than a Hussein presidency. God help us and have mercy on our souls and our country if it does come to pass.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.

The charges included costs for hotel and commercial flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.

In all, Palin has charged the state $21,012 for her three daughters’ 64 one-way and 12 round-trip commercial flights since she took office in December 2006. In some other cases, she has charged the state for hotel rooms for the girls.

I am SO fed up with the damned media in general and the double damned AP in particular. They will spare no expense and spend uncounted time and energy to dig up the least tiny little bit of dirt on Palin, and Joe the Plumber, while they ignore the crimes and deceit of their Chosen One, their Golden Boy, Hussein Obama. They will not lift a finger or spend a penny to investigate Hussein’s relationships with Frank Marshall Davis, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezco, ACORN; they don’t scrutinize his time in office or his time before that, or his finances or the finances of his campaign. And these are just the things we were able to find out on our own, who knows what other dark secrets the media is hiding so their Messiah can be elected? Never in my life would I have ever believed that I could see the entire news world, save for a few such as Fox that stay neutral, turn and bow down to a politician like this and grovel at his feet, to lie for him, obfuscate, hide, delete, spin, destroy his enemies. It is an embarrassment to the concept of journalism and the entire US. The really sad part about it is that they are so blatant and unashamed about their undeniable bias. I’ve only been around since the 70’s and while they were substantially biased even back then, that was nothing compared to the love fest, the crush they have on Hussein, their god who can do no wrong. The US is seriously broken and the media is one of, if not the, biggest fracture of all.

Justice Thomas is absolutely correct. To the liberals and Democrats, the US Constitution is nothing more than a nuisance that can be overturned by the liberals of like mind that they have infiltrated the court system with. They say, and believe, the Constitution is not what the framers said it is, it is what THEY say it is. They can misinterpret it anyway they want, and as Justice Thomas says, make it up as much as they want as they go along. To them the Constitution is nothing but an old piece of paper that means nothing. All that counts to them is the power they have and how to hold on to it. And to some of them that means the power to destroy the US from within. We are seeing it, and have been seeing it for years, right before our eyes. What will we do about it? What can we do about it?

I would absolutely love to have Clarence Thomas as my first African-American president, or someone like him, such as Alan Keyes.

Rules? What rules? Laws? What laws?

Clearly, Alinsky’s acolytes take him at his word. When one is fighting a war “against social evils,” one is above the law. Rules and laws are for the other people.

I’m stunned by the irony here.

Let us not forget the absolutely essential role the biased, liberal media has played in Hussein’s ascension to the top. He may be stealing his way with ACORN and buying his way with illegal donations, but it is the leftist media that is making it all possible by their collusion and preferential treatment through slanted reporting, omission of unfavorable stories, obfuscation, fabrication, undeserved and untrue attacks on opponents of The Chosen One, and let us state plainly, outright lies. I just read a story today how Hussein says if it was not for Fox News he would be up in the polls by 2-3%. Another writer, I forget who now, was quoted as saying if not for the broadcast networks and all the other cable networks besides Fox, McCain would be up by 20%. I beg to differ, if not for everyone but Fox, Hussein wouldn’t even be in the race,would be sitting at home right now and we wouldn’t have to be worried about the impending socialist/communist takeover of the Land of the Free. It is the media that has given this election to Hussein, hands down. All that other stuff is just insurance.

“He will have a role as one of my advisers,” Barack Obama said on NBC’s “Today” in an interview aired Monday, a day after Powell, a four-star general and President Bush’s former secretary of state, endorsed him.

“Whether he wants to take a formal role, whether that’s a good fit for him, is something we’d have to discuss,” Obama said.

So now it all becomes crystal clear, endorsement in exchange for a job, and power. Absolute corruption at its worse. The problem is the idiot liberals and blind Dimocraps will not see it for what it is. Powell is a fraud. Maybe he was right after all, maybe it wasn’t about race, it was all about power and a job in Hussein’s administration.

The New York Times hit piece on Cindy McCain dated October 17, 2008 was refuted by her lawyer who also said, “It is worth noting that you have not employed your investigative assets looking into Michelle Obama. You have not tried to find Barack Obama’s drug dealer that he wrote about in his book, Dreams of My Father. Nor have you interviewed his poor relatives in Kenya and determined why Barack Obama has not rescued them. Thus, there is a terrific lack of balance here.”

Instead of members of the mainstream media fulfilling their duty to conduct fair-minded investigative reporting, they are, in effect, a mammoth propaganda machine that’s running interference for Barack Obama.

I have always disliked the “goo-goo” types. That stands for good government, the people who want everybody to vote. I don’t want the uninformed to vote because either they will vote the familiar name or they will vote the way somebody tells them to vote. The goo-goo crowd must be in seventh heaven because in Indianapolis 105% of the voting age population is eligible to vote. Thanks to the so-called nonpartisan Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), a great many people who are dead, invented or just plain silly have registered.

On FOX News one ACORN representative admitted that she tells everyone whom she signs up to vote for Senator Barack Hussein Obama. Jeanne MacIntosh of The New York Post got one 19-year old to admit he had registered 72 times in precincts all over Ohio. What was in it for him? Cash and cigarettes. That is a felony in Ohio. But what the heck, registered to vote in Ohio are Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy and Jive Turkey, according to The Wall Street Journal. In Nevada, where the FBI raided ACORN offices, the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys is registered to vote.

It’s been quite a week for “Joe the Plumber,” aka Joe Wurzelbacher of Ohio. His comments elicited a telling moment of candor from Barack Obama, who insisted that “when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.” The redistributionist tone of Obama’s remarks received plenty of attention, not least from John McCain; they were a rare – and disturbing – insight into the mindset of an unusually disciplined candidate who has been remarkably under-covered by the press.

Not surprisingly, things soon took an ugly turn for Joe. In an effort to discredit him, the media camped out on his front yard and started nosing around in his past. In just two days, America learned more about Joe the Plumber than the press has told us in two years about Barack Obama.

Warning: Beware those who would dare speak out against Hussein once he is elected when he will have the power of the federal government to destroy you as well as the power of the media and the press. Can anyone recognize the rise of Fascism when they see it?

Jon Stewart to Sarah Palin: ‘[Expletive] You.’

Speaking to a college audience in Boston, Mass. Friday, “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart used his stand-up routine to respond to Sarah Palin’s comments about “pro-America” parts of the country, shedding the profanity restrictions that govern his Comedy Central show.

“She said that small towns, that’s the part of the country she really likes going to because that’s the pro-America part of the country. You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: [expletive] you,” Stewart said to raucous applause.

Palin addressed a North Carolina fund-raiser Thursday night saying, “We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C. We believe…that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard working very patriotic, very pro-America areas of this great nation.”

My suggestion would be to go to the Comedy Central website and tell Jon Stewart what you think of him. I did.

Hawaii ending universal child health care

HONOLULU (AP) — Hawaii is dropping the only state universal child health care program in the country just seven months after it launched.

Gov. Linda Lingle’s administration cited budget shortfalls and other available health care options for eliminating funding for the program. A state official said families were dropping private coverage so their children would be eligible for the subsidized plan.

“People who were already able to afford health care began to stop paying for it so they could get it for free,” said Dr. Kenny Fink, the administrator for Med-QUEST at the Department of Human Services. “I don’t believe that was the intent of the program.”

State officials said Thursday they will stop giving health coverage to the 2,000 children enrolled by Nov. 1, but private partner Hawaii Medical Service Association will pay to extend their coverage through the end of the year without government support.

Duh. Why should you pay extra for something the government is giving to somebody else for free?

Is this what will happen in the US if Hussein establishes universal health care for everyone here on a national scale? They will cancel it because it will bankrupt the entire country? Not that the country isn’t already pretty near insolvency as it is.

I can’t stand McCain but I fear Hussein and what he will do to freedom in this country even more so I will vote against him and for McCain, despite the fact that he was the worst the Republicans could have selected to run It is literally choosing the lesser of two evils, and while McCain is not good, Hussein is absolutely evil.

CONCORD, N.C. – As John McCain trails Barack Obama in swing states he needs to win to claim the presidency, his campaign has promoted the idea that his opponent’s tax and health-care policies evoke socialism.

The claim was made after Mr. Obama remarked in Ohio last week that he wanted to “spread the wealth around.”

Only a complete and total brain-dead fool or absolutely stupid and imbecilic idiot would claim that Hussein is not a socialist. That or someone on the take from the Hussein campaign. Or yet a third possibility, a supposed, so-called “journalist,” and I use the term VERY loosely, who is biased so far to the left, that they will lie, cheat, steal, spin, defraud, and attempt to brainwash anyone willing to listen into voting for the Obamanation. I wonder which category these two left-wing liberals fit into? I would hope it is the fool and idiot category but I’m afraid it is the undeniably biased, ultra-left wing, liberal radical category, so intent on seeing that their boy, Hussein, is elected that they stoop to spreading outright lies and liberal, Democratic Party propaganda straight from the Hussein campaign, and attempting to pass it off as “news.”

Any fool or idiot can see that Hussein is nothing more than a socialist campaigning as a Democrat, I would even go so far as to say a communist, based on his past actions, his speeches, his writings, his campaign promises, his supporters, and his past associations. That these two fools don’t see it, or use outright, bald-faced lies to deny it, makes them either completely ignorant or completely biased to the left. This pathetic excuse of a newspaper and their editors also must be ultra-left, liberal radicals, involved in the undeniable bias and one-sided reporting employed by all main stream media to ensure Hussein is elected, since they allowed this complete and total lie to be printed. I have now lost ALL respect for this newspaper. They might as well change the name to the Dallas Communist News instead of the Dallas Morning News, or maybe the Dallas Hussein News.

This country has really sunk to the bottom to allow these lies and falsehoods to be passed off as “news.” If anybody else out there is too ignorant to recognize how biased the media is, explain to my why they expend so much time, money, and effort to dig up the tiniest little bit of dirt they can, first about Sarah Palin, and now about Joe the Plumber (who had the audacity, in the eyes of the biased media to speak out against the Golden Boy), while they completely ignore Hussein’s mantra as the most liberal Senator ever, the most pro-abortion candidate ever, his dark past involved with Frank Marshall Davis, Bill Ayers, Tony Rezco, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, ACORN, I could go on forever with what the left-wing media ignores, denies, or covers up for Hussein, at the same time that they savage Palin and destroy a common, everyday plumber who angered the Chosen One, by calling him out on his undeniable socialism. It’s a damn good thing I didn’t pay for this paper and am reading it online. I only came for the sports and the local news but this outrageous headline on the front page was too much to ignore. Lighthouse Point: GOP leader’s house damaged

Someone apparently threw an object at a window of the Broward County Republican Party chairman’s house this weekend in Lighthouse Point, shattering the glass.

Chip LaMarca, who also is a Lighthouse Point city commissioner, said he and his wife were out of town when they were told of the incident Saturday morning and reported it to the police chief. The couple live on Northeast 24th Street.

LaMarca said he saw the incident as an act of vandalism that possibly stems from his role as local Republican chairman.

The Obama thugs will stoop to violence unheard of in America to physically and violently crush all opposition to the Anointed One. And this is before he is even elected. How much power will the Messiah give the Obama Youth when he is elected? The Fourth Reich is upon us, except the leader’s name is Hussein instead of Hitler and the targets are conservatives, Christians, and Republicans, instead of Jews.

Colin Powell Endorses Obama

Powell was always a RINO (Republican In Name Only, for you Dimocraps) and a closet liberal. I never liked him anyway. And despite what he said does anybody really believe color had nothing to do with his decision? Birds of a feather and all that, and I mean liberals, not race, heh, heh. Yeah, sure I do.
