A lot of stuff here and some long responses to make up for taking the Christmas holidays off.
RNC pushes unprecedented criticism of bailouts
Washington Times
In what would amount to a slap in the face to a sitting Republican president and the party’s Senate and House leaders, national GOP officials, including the vice chairman of the Republican National Committee, are sponsoring a resolution opposing the resort to “socialist” means to save capitalism.
“We can’t be a party of small government, free markets and low taxes while supporting bailouts and nationalizing industries, which lead to big government, socialism and high taxes at the expense of individual liberty and freedoms,” said Solomon Yue, a cosponsor of a resolution that would put the RNC — the party’s national governing body — on the record as opposing the U.S. government bailouts of the financial and auto industries.
Republican National Vice Chairman and constitutional law attorney James Bopp Jr. authored the resolution and is asking the rest of the 168 voting members of the committee to sign it.

It’s about time one of our so-called leaders actually woke up and smelled the coffee. Still it’s too little, too late. The best it could do now is maybe oppose more bailouts. It is also odd that the Washington Times removed the article. I wonder what is up with that, too much good press for Republicans so it had to be pulled?
Cash-strapped states weigh selling roads, parks
By MARTIGA LOHN
Associated Press
December 29, 2008
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota is deep in the hole financially, but the state still owns a premier golf resort, a sprawling amateur sports complex, a big airport, a major zoo and land holdings the size of the Central American country of Belize.
Valuables like these are in for a closer look as 44 states cope with deficits.
Like families pawning the silver to get through a tight spot, states such as Minnesota, New York, Massachusetts and Illinois are thinking of selling or leasing toll roads, parks, lotteries and other assets to raise desperately needed cash.
More
I used to live in a conservative state that knew how to manage its money an order of several magnitudes better than the Federal Government, called Texas. I feel Texas would be much better off to secede and go it alone than have to go down with the ship when the US tanks with its unmanageable debt. I read somewhere that Texas has enough oil resources to last the state itself for something like 260 years so it doesn’t really need the US and it is a net loser when it comes to calculating federal taxes paid minus federal government services rendered. So in my opinion, Texas really has no good reason to remain attached to the US and be dragged down when the ship goes under. If Texas seceded from the evil America I bet it would have instant friends all over the world for standing up to the evil Americans. Even though I don’t live there anymore I’ll always be a Texan first and an American second.
But back to the matter at hand, the new state where I live, Florida is considering leasing toll roads such as Alligator Alley to private companies and let them run it, take it in the tolls, and maintain it, while keeping a profit for themselves, I suppose thinking that private enterprise can run and maintain a toll road better than the state highway department. The only problem is that Alligator Alley is really Interstate 75. I have read where other states up north have begun or are considering charging tolls on interstates. To me that is wrong. My federal taxes already paid for that road and while it might be maintained by the state, it is the property of the United States and it should be free for anyone in the US to use. If they want to charge a toll, let them build a toll road themselves and then they can charge whatever they want.
The above mentioned proposals to sell or lease government property or operations seems to be a continuation of the privatization or contracting out of formerly government run services which actually started a long time ago. I used to work for a city in Texas back in the 80’s and I lost my city job because they contracted it out to save money on personnel, supplies, operation costs, etc. I think the main cost was personnel. With so many less employees they didn’t have to pay a salary for or pay for benefits, they thought they saved money. Once that department was contracted out, the craze spread to other departments whose services were contracted out. there is a city near me in Florida now that contracts out everything, and I mean everything, parks, water, police, fire, taxation, streets, waste. The city of 60-70,000 has five city employees, because everything is contracted out, including city administration. They hired a firm to administrate and manage their city for them. Even the US Army contracts out services that used to be provided by uniformed soldiers both to save money and to have less men in uniform in support roles that could instead be fighting. I think this is the wave of the future, more and more services that used to be provided by government employees will be contracted out to private firms until some local and state governments are like the city in Florida, just elected officials overseeing a bunch of contracts. On the other hand I don’t think the Federal behemoth of a government will ever do the same. It is such a monster already feeding ravenously that it has too much inertia to be parceled apart to private companies. Can you imagine the Dept. of Education contracted out to some education foundation or firm? Or the Dept. of Defense just maintaining a force of contracted mercenary companies? Not very likely, although in the case of the Dept. of Education, that might not be such a bad thing as long as it is not a friend of Hussein’s company.
One last thing, it what has become a long post in addressing several different issues. There could be a backlash by the public if the states, counties, and cities start selling or getting rid of too many public amenities that the public appreciates and wants to keep, like parks and recreation areas. For example, the county where I live recently approved an amendment that forbids the county council from selling any parks or open land without the approval of the voting public. I don’t know if this was a result of what is outlined in the article or if whoever thought up the amendment thought with the economy tanking and tax revenue plummeting, the council might take a look at this empty land that was bought to be a park and start thinking dollar signs and sell it to generate cash to balance the budget or continue to fund some unnecessary social program.
In summary, I’m mixed on the issue. Some services would definitely be better if provided by a private firm that is looking to make a profit, and some services I would prefer still be maintained by a government that is responsible to the people who elected them. Sorry I wrote so much, but once again I got carried away with the possibilities.
Parker: The awkward co-dependence of blacks and liberal Democrats
By Star Parker
December 29, 2008
What does Caroline Kennedy have in common with black America? If your answer is not much, I’d tend to agree with you.
When I think of Caroline, I think of Manhattan and Park Avenue, not the Bronx and Brooklyn. I think of Brentwood and Beverly Hills, not Watts and South Central Los Angeles.
But there is something that Caroline and black America do have in common. The Democratic Party.
Whether Kennedy succeeds in her effo rt to slide into Hillary Clinton’s soon-to-be-vacated Senate seat will have little to do with her Democratic Party bona fides. Per her policy positions ticked off the other day, she is in perfect and predictable liberal alignment with party boilerplate. If she fails, it will be for reasons other than her views.
More
I, too, have for years been perplexed by the black people’s embracing of the Dimocraps when the Dims are so pathetically liberal in all things and the blacks are basically very much more socially conservative. Case in point being the overwhelming opposition of African-Americans to Prop. 8 in California, yet they vote 90% for Hussein who supports gay rights. Star is right that the GOP will never win them over with social issues because if we haven’t by now, with the Dims slanting so far to the left that they are about to teeter off the edge, then we never will. I, too, came to the same conclusion that the reason the blacks love the Dimocraps so much is because the Dimocraps buy their love with expensive social programs that pass out money to the black people to redistribute the wealth, which does lead to a case of keeping them on the plantation with continuing welfare and give-away programs that they aren’t required to do anything to get. With the free ride, they have no incentive to improve themselves, at least those that are trapped in the vicious cycle of the ghetto, not the increasing numbers of blacks that are assimilating into the middle class of America.
It was FDR who first started buying the black vote for the Dims with his New Deal and then JFK and LBJ close the deal with their Great Society. Many blacks voted Republican because that was the party of Lincoln and the party that freed the slaves before the Dimocraps came along with their plan to buy the black vote with give-aways and free social programs that couldn’t have worked any better if they had wanted it to. In the same way the Dims are currently blatantly buying the Hispanic vote with their embracing of the illegal alien crusade and promising to pen the borders and grant amnesty to the illegals already here. Their plans work well. Instead of trying to govern and be good stewards of the Republic, all the Dimocraps are interested in is keeping their hold on power by buying votes with taxpayer money they give away. Somewhere else I read something to the effect that Democracy was dead when the voters figured out that they could vote themselves unlimited money out of the country’s treasury. The Dimocraps figured that out years ago and are in the process of doing exactly that. The only difference is that this is technically a republic so the voters have to elect those who will then give them unlimited money from the treasury. That started with FDR and it only gets worse and worse and worse as the years go by. Now we are so far in debt that we are at that theoretical point where democracy is dead because there is no more free money to vote out of the treasury because it is broke, or so far in debt that it might as well be.
Sherline: Is Health Care A ‘Right’?
By Harris R. Sherline
December 29, 2008
Here’s a hypothetical: Someone close to you has a very serious illness, diagnosed as terminal, say cancer, and the doctors are recommending aggressive treatment with chemo-therapy or radiology, or major surgery, or some combination thereof. What should they do?
On the surface, the answer may seem obvious: get the treatment, of course.
But, what if it produces extremely harsh side effects that are so debilitating the patient is barely able to function for weeks or months. And, although the treatment may buy the patient some time, perhaps a few months or a year, it is clear that the he or she will not live much longer. Add to the equation the fact that the care will cost $200,000 or $300,000, perhaps much more.
More
Apparently it wasn’t a ‘right’ before 1965 when the second great liberal giveaway of taxpayer funds began. Now it is like a never-ending, constantly-growing, constantly-feeding monster created by LBJ and the Dimocraps, like so many others that are so bloated and overgrown feeding on the taxes of working Americans that it threatens to swamp the boat and send the US to the bottom of the sea. Just another reason why socialism doesn’t work. I always go by the mantra, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. If it worked for nearly 200 years before, why did the liberal Dims think they had to fix it? Like Dr. Frankenstein, they created a monster that they have no control over that devours dollars faster than they can be printed. But do they care? No. they don’t have to worry about it, they’ve got enough money to buy their own good health care. They just pass the problem and the debt on to the next generation who, if there is to be one, will be paying heavily nearly forever for the Dimocraps mistakes and lack of fiscal knowledge or restraint over the preceding generations.
Towery: Don’t Give Caroline Kennedy A ‘Bailout’
By Matt Towery
December 29, 2008
We saw what happened when the mighty and powerful captains of Wall Street and the big banks asked for a giant blank check from Congress. What was promised to be a stimulus to our economy turned out to be a money grab in which the banks can’t or won’t tell us how they are using the money. They aren’t making loans; they aren’t assisting families or small businesses. They’ve turned out to be arrogant parasites.
Now we’re getting the political equivalent of this with Caroline Kennedy, the lone surviving member of the family of John F. Kennedy. She has the audacity to come down off her lofty perch to essentially stage a public campaign to persuade New York Gov. David Paterson to appoint — make that anoint — her to the United States Senate. Sure thing.
More
I thought we fought a revolution to do away with inherited titles and aristocracy ruling over us. But the Dimocraps seem determined on bringing it back, even though we threw out such things once, by anointing the Kennedy clan as their version of American royalty. The sad part of it is that the entire Kennedy clan’s fortune that made them royalty was made by breaking laws. All they are is descendents of criminals and outlaws, hardly the background of any aristocracy. My dog is more qualified to be appointed to the Senate than Ms. Schlossberg, but since she is Dimocrap royalty she will get the seat. Wait and see. The Dimocraps live by the pay-back theory; they pay voters to elect them with free government give-aways of money and services and entitlement and social programs so they understand why Schlossberg feels she should be paid back for what her dear old departed daddy did for the Party, even though she personally had nothing to do with any of that. All she has is a name.
Lamb: Global Warming: The New Eugenics
By Henry Lamb
December 29, 2008
Eugenics pioneer, Francis Galton, defined eugenics as: “the study of all agencies under human control which can improve or impair the racial quality of future generations.”
Global warming can be defined as: “the study of all agencies under human control which can improve or impair the environmental quality of future generations.”
The eugenics movement and the global warming movement are similar in many respects. Both ideas were introduced by scientists, advanced by politicians, popularized by the media, embraced as a moral necessity, resulted in severe consequences, and eventually rejected as harmful hogwash.
More
Global warming is the biggest farce and lie ever perpetuated on the world collectively at one time. Just like liberalism is a religion to socialists and communist, Global warming is a religion to its maniacal adherents who, exactly like the rabid, radical, gay-rights zealots, will allow no dissenting viewpoint to even be thought, much less uttered, in their own fascist ways. The sad part is that thanks to the fact that the biased, liberal, socialist media and the liberal socialist elite of the world buy into it so heartily and have so much power and influence over everyone else, including those who know better and those who oppose or dissent from the views, that they are able to completely brainwash everyone else into buying into the sham and the lie as well, and make it the law. The Global Warming Gestapo doesn’t care about science or truth or justice, all they care about is grabbing and maintaining power and making outrageous amounts of money for themselves based on the Lie.
Some day, perhaps when we are in the next Ice Age caused by the Global Warming crowd’s efforts to alter the Earth’s natural rhythms of cooling and heating, these con-artists and carpet-baggers will be seen for the charlatans they are. Too bad more people can’t see through the lies today and realize the truth before it is too late and the Global Warming disciples are able to ruin our planet both environmentally and economically, as well as creating a socialist/communist/fascist apparatus, either governmental or quasi-governmental, to carry out their foolish, wasteful, and irrational acts.
Jeb Bush Signals He’s Poised to Run
Jeb Bush Signals He’s Poised to Run
By: Dave Eberhart – Newsmax
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has been busy testing the waters since Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla., announced earlier this month that he won’t seek reelection in 2010.
According to Politico, sources indicate the President’s brother hasn’t yet made a final decision, but Republican Party leaders are giving him a thumbs-up. And President Bush has already said his brother would make an “awesome” candidate and senator.
“Everything indicates that he’s in,” said David Johnson, a Republican strategist and the CEO of Strategic Vision. “You’re not making calls and laying the ground work for fundraising unless you’re clearing the field for your candidacy.”
MORE
Having lived in Texas when George was governor and then moving to Florida when Jeb was governor I think I know a little bit about these two brothers. Both were good governors and conservative while they were in office and both enjoyed high popularity in their respective states. Then we know what happened when George became president. However, I don’t think it is fair to Jeb to throw him under the bus just yet, just because of what his brother did. His father was a good, conservative president, doesn’t that cancel out anything negative about the brother? Would Jeb be more like his father or more like his brother? Who knows? Nobody can know but Jeb himself. Just because you have issues with George II, just like I do, that is no reason to take it out on his brother. You don’t know, you can’t know, what he would do or be like in Washington because he hasn’t even been there yet, but you are not willing to give him a chance? Saying because George was not a good, conservative president, there is no way Jeb can be a good, conservative senator, is akin to saying since a black guy robbed a bank, all black people are bad, or since a white guy shot somebody all white people are bad. Jeb is a different person, just like George I and George II were different people. Give him a chance before you write him off. I live in Florida and of all the possible candidates mentioned for a possible senate run that I am aware of, he is the most conservative of the bunch and as of today would get my vote. Give Jeb a fair shake, then you can make a determination of whether he is worthy of a senate seat or not. After all there is no way he can be much worse than what I’ve got representing me in the Senate right now from Florida.
Antle: Blackwell’s Back
By W. James Antle, III
American Spectator
For most of the past decade and a half, the Ohio Republican Party’s leadership was divided into two camps. There were the tax-and-spend Republicans who built solid GOP majorities throughout the state only to fritter them away through scandal, sclerosis, and a lack of economic solutions. And then there was Ken Blackwell, the government-cutting conservative thorn in the state party establishment’s side.
There was no love lost between the dominant faction and the odd man out. Blackwell was a persistent critic of Republicans in the mold of George Voinovich and Bob Taft, whom he accused of “campaigning like Ronald Reagan and governing like [1980s Democratic Gov.] Dick Celeste.” The Taft-Voinovich Republicans thought Blackwell too hard-edged for Ohioans’ tender Midwestern sensibilities and unready for primetime.
More
After reading this article I would seriously consider supporting Blackwell for RNC Chairman. If he is what this writer says and implies he is, then he may be the real deal, in which case he would get my vote, if I had one. We need more true Reagan Republicans, not more of the same old RINO and Dimo-lite party leaders we have suffered under for too long that have just about ruined the Republican brand.
Abortion industry asks Obama for billions in funding
One News Now
A major abortion provider wants taxpayers to fork over more money, even while the economy is down.
Over 50 pro-abortion groups have submitted a 55-page wish list called “Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New Administration” to the incoming Obama administration. Jim Sedlak of American Life League’s (ALL) Stop Planned Parenthood, or Stopp International, has tallied the cost.
“They want unfettered abortion. They want the government paying for all of its programs,” he contends. “In fact, [if] you total up everything that they’ve asked Obama for, Planned Parenthood and their friends want the taxpayers to give them $4.6 billion next year.”
More
Planned Parenthood (and all other industrial abortion providers) = Murder, Inc.
They are no different from any other organized criminal gang, they are just the Mafia of Murdering Innocent Children. The only problem is they are legally legit and will get more and more legit and powerful with Abortion Merchants like Hussein and the Dimocraps, who owe them, in power.
Murder, Inc. needs to be stopped and shut down immediately. It is a completely outrageous travesty of justice that my tax money goes toward killing innocent babies and there is nothing legal I can do about it except write to my representatives, which is like trying to convince the dead they are alive, or suing in a court dominated by liberal trash like the ones that allowed this legalized murder to begin in the first place. With few exceptions, the world today is no friend of the unborn.
RNC members call unprecedented special meeting
The Hill
For the first time in party history, members of the Republican National Committee have called their own unscheduled meeting without the aid of the Washington-based party apparatus.
Organized by North Dakota Republican Party chairman Gary Emineth, the meeting will convene for the specific purpose of hosting a forum for candidates running to chair the national committee. Members will meet at an as-of-yet-undecided location in Washington on January 7.
The unscheduled and unexpected meeting, plans for which were first reported by The Hill, was called by Emineth and 21 other RNC members from 18 states, according to a memo from the RNC counsel’s office. Party rules stipulate a meeting must be called by at least 16 members from 16 different states.
More
I believe this could be a good thing and a warning to those in the party that want to maintain the status quo of losing. We definitely need new leadership and perhaps this is a way to get a better chairman than by the usual method of backdoor deals and calling in favors. This is more transparent and might give the real, true conservative a better chance to unseat the liberal RINO’s that run the party now. It can’t get much worse. I might be speaking optimistically but this might be the first opening salvo in the true conservative base in attempting to retake control of the party from the moderates who have allowed the ship to drift way off course.
Dictator Stalin voted third-greatest Russian
By DAVID NOWAK
Associated Press
December 29, 2008
MOSCOW (AP) — Television viewers have voted Soviet dictator Josef Stalin — who sent millions to their deaths in the Great Purge of the 1930s — Russia’s third-greatest historical figure.
Rights activists have blasted Stalin’s inclusion in the 90-day, nationwide project by the state-run Rossiya channel. They say authorities are trying to gloss over Stalin’s atrocities and glorify his tyranny.
The project, called “The Name of Russia,” culminated with the announcement Sunday night that Russian medieval leader Alexander Nevsky had been voted the greatest Russian, with more than 524,000 Internet and SMS votes. Stalin garnered more than 519,000 votes, and even led in early voting.
More
If this doesn’t show how warped, twisted, wacko, ignorant, blind, bloodthirsty, and perverted the Russian people are, nothing does. We are dealing with a nation of psychos here if they admire this brutal, bloody, tyrannical dictator so much. This would be like the US voting Charles Manson the third most admired American, or Germany voting Adolf Hitler the third most admired German. Although I really wouldn’t put that past the Germans either, as a people they are nearly as psychopathic as the Russians.
Israeli troops mobilize as Gaza assault widens
By IBRAHIM BARZAK and KARIN LAUB
Associated Press
December 29, 2008
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israel widened its deadliest-ever air offensive against Gaza’s Hamas rulers Sunday, pounding smuggling tunnels and a central prison, sending more tanks and artillery toward the Gaza border and approving a reserves callup for a possible ground invasion.
Israeli leaders said they would press ahead with the Gaza campaign, despite enraged protests across the Arab world and Syria’s decision to break off indirect peace talks with the Jewish state. Israel’s foreign minister said the goal was to halt Gaza rocket fire on Israel for good, but not to reoccupy the territory.
With the two-day death toll nearing 300 Sunday, crowds of Gazans breached the border wall with Egypt to escape the chaos. Egyptian forces, some firing in the air, tried to push them back into Gaza and an official said one border guard was killed.

Go, Israel, go! I really wish they could once and for all end the threat of Hamas forever. But in this imperfect world that will never happen. All Israel wants is to be left alone, all Hamas wants is Israel to be no more. There is and never will be any compromise with Hamas. They won’t quit until either they or Israel is dead. I am reminded of a saying I heard once: If the Palestinians had no guns there would be peace. If Israel had no guns there would be no Israel.
Flight 93 families ask Bush to OK land seizure
By BOB LENTZ
Associated Press
December 29, 2008
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Relatives of those who died aboard United Airlines Flight 93 want the Bush Administration to seize the land needed for a memorial where the plane crashed in Shanksville, Pa., in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The Families of Flight 93 sent a letter earlier this month asking President George W. Bush to empower the Secretary of the Interior to take the land in dispute from a homeowner who had been in negotiations with the National Parks Service, said Patrick White, vice president of the families’ organization.
The group says ground must be broken early next year in time for a memorial to be build for the 10th anniversary of the crash in 2011.
More
Even though I am sympathetic to the families there is no way I would ever be in favor of government seizure of land through imminent domain or any other method for any reason. Having descended from grandfathers who were farmers and cattlemen, I know the soul of a man is in his land, hence the categorical antipathy toward government seizure of any type of property for any reason, even if the owner of the land is a corporation, as in this case. We fought a war back in 1776 over government seizing private property of citizens, among other things. I think it is just another aspect of socialism and communism when the government can take away your property and we have enough creeping socialism and communism taking over our country right now as it is, we don’t need more.
Tale Of Two Presidential Workout Fanatics
By Michelle Malkin
December 29, 2008
Ah, the perks of media affection. On Christmas Day, the Washington Post delivered a front-page paean to Barack Obama’s workout habits. The 1,233-word ode to O’s physical fitness read more like a Harlequin romance novel than an A-1 news article.
Sighed smitten reporter Eli Zaslow, “The sun glinted off chiseled pectorals sculpted during four weightlifting sessions each week, and a body toned by regular treadmill runs and basketball games.” Drool cup to the newsroom, stat.

I am so sick of the fawning, worshipping media making Hussein out to be a superhero or a god in everything that he does. This just shows their undeniable bias and prejudice towards Bush when they criticize him for the very same things they fall all over themselves to praise Hussein for. The media makes me sick and so does Hussein.
Somalia’s president quits after 4 years in office
By MOHAMED OLAD HASSAN
Associated Press
December 29, 2008
MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) — The president of Somalia’s U.N.-backed government resigned Monday, saying he had lost control of the country to Islamic insurgents and could not fulfill his duties after four years leading the violent and impoverished nation.
Abdullahi Yusuf is the latest leader to have failed to pacify Somalia in two decades of turmoil and deadly violence. Somalia has been beset by anarchy, famine and a steady influx of weapons from abroad. More than a dozen attempts have been made to form an effective government since the last one collapsed in 1991.
Within hours of Yusuf’s resignation, mortars shells were raining down near the presidential palace in the capital, Mogadishu.

Another example of the conquer or die attitude of Islamic militants. They never stop until they have totally conquered their objective or died trying. Think of Al-Queda and the PLO or Hamas. They will never stop until the world is Muslim or they are all dead in the first case, and until Israel is no more in the second. Their conquer or die attitude makes them formidable foes. There is no compromise or surrender, you either yield or you die, and they won’t stop until the last infidel is dead or converted. It might be an un-Christian-like thought also, but the world would probably be a better place if there were no Muslims.
RNC candidate distributes controversial Obama song
The Hill
RNC candidate Chip Saltsman’s Christmas greeting to committee members includes a music CD with lyrics from a song called “Barack the Magic Negro,” first played on Rush Limbaugh’s popular radio show.
Saltsman, a personal friend of conservative satirist Paul Shanklin, sent a 41-track CD along with a note to national committee members.
“I look forward to working together in the New Year,” Saltsman wrote. “Please enjoy the enclosed CD by my friend Paul Shanklin of the Rush Limbaugh Show.”
The CD, called “We Hate the USA,” lampoons liberals with such songs as “John Edwards’ Poverty Tour,” “Wright place, wrong pastor,” “Love Client #9,” “Ivory and Ebony” and “The Star Spanglish banner.”

Oh, come on, get real. It’s just a joke for Heaven’s sake. And I think it’s funny too. Has Political Correctness Bullsh gone so far that we can’t even laugh or tell jokes anymore? After all a washed-up, has-been comedian is about to become a Senator from Minnesota. I know I am in the smallest of minorities here but this only impresses me with Saltsman, and by association, Blackwell. And I’m not a fraternity prankster or joker either. What happened to the days when you could make fun of and laugh at your enemies? I seriously think this PC bullsh has so infected the society of the US that it is pathetic, even among conservatives. I’d like to hear more humor directed toward those who deserve it and not just on talk radio or in columns. After all this was just supposed to be correspondence between friends and associates, not a policy statement or anything of the sort. If this makes him crucifiable for an attempt at humor, then I suspect we all deserve it for making a joke in this category at one time or another. Give the guy a break, its an attempt at humor, nothing more. If the intended target of the humorous, satirical song was, say, Osama Bin-Ladin, instead of Barrack Hussien Obame, it would have been viewed as merely humorous, maybe tasteless, but still humorous. But since the target was that fascist, communist, socialist icon, Hussein the media, who worships the ground the man walks on and bow at his feet and kiss is jackboots, and everyone else it seems, it is a big deal. Get over it already, it was a joke, nothing more, nothing less. If you can’t poke fun of and laugh at your enemies, who are you going to laugh at, yourselves? And I’m not even going to get into the racial overtones of the thing and the two-faced, hypocriticalness of it all when blacks call each other far worse things than that literally ALL the time, in public, on CD’s, DVD’s, and mp3’s, in comedy bars, on cable TV, and so on. In my opinion, this political correctness tyranny must end.
Did anybody even consider the point that he might not have even been aware this particular song was on the CD? After all it had 41 titles on it, which is a lot for a CD, and even if some of them were in bold it would not have been too hard to overlook a few. This reminds me of the vendor who got crucified for selling pins at the Texas Republican Convention that said, ‘If Obama wins, will they still call it the White House?’ or something to that effect and they kicked him out of the convention. Yet his pins were one of the best selling items there. That prove people like this sort of jocularity no matter how politically incorrect it is, even if they are afraid to admit for fear of being called a bigot among other things. People get offended so easily today for things that they would shrug off and think nothing of not even twenty years ago. It is sadly and definitely pathetic.
Report: Lufkin defensive tackle commits to Oklahoma
11:16 PM CST on Thursday, December 25, 2008
Lufkin High School’s Jamarkus McFarland, rated the nation’s second-best senior defensive tackle by Rivals.com, has orally committed to Oklahoma, according to The New York Times.
McFarland (6-3, 280) made his decision at 12:01 a.m. on Christmas Day, The Times reported, apparently ending a recruiting tug-of-war between the Sooners and Texas.
Oral commitments are nonbinding.
Orangebloods vs. the New York Times
Chuck Carlton
They say history is written by the winners.
In recruiting, the first word is often determined by the recruits and their families, simply because coaches can’t comment about high school players who haven’t signed national letters of intent. Lufkin defensive end Jamarkus McFarland and his mother provided exclusive access to the New York Times for an article on his recruiting.
Oklahoma, the school McFarland choose, came off quite well. Pretty much every other school involved took a beating, especially runner-up Texas.
So, in the interest of fairness, here’s a rebuttal by Geoff Ketchum, who runs Orangebloods, the Rivals.com website that covers Texas. Be prepared. It’s more than 4,200 words long but a good read. I don’t agree with all the points, but it pokes some holes in the Times’ account and adds pertinent info.
And while most Orangebloods material is for subscribers only, for now this is free on the site. Or it was for me.

Only a complete fool or an idiot believes anything they read in the NYT. It is a well known fact that the NYT is nothing more than a liberal, socialist, communist propaganda rag for the Dimocraps and Hussein Obama that prints fantasy instead of fact and fiction instead of truth. The NYT makes the National Enquirer look like a Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper. The NYT is based so far from reality and its reporting is so prejudiced and biased it is a total and complete lie to even refer to it as a “newspaper.” Only a complete moron even reads the NYT much less believes anything printed in it.
To get the facts straight, go read this:

Then hopefully you will be able to see what a second class job of reporting and what a kindergarten level story this writer, who is from Oklahoma no less, wrote. This Jamarkus is nothing more than a mama’s boy whose mama seems to control every aspect of his life so Texas is better off not having this cancer on campus with a fiddling mama that will get into everything, lie, make up, and fabricate stories like this. If you read the article and you still believe the fantasy that is this story, I’ve got some ocean-front property in Oklahoma I’m dying to sell you. It is real cheap, too, about as cheap as the shots McFarland’s mama and the reporter for the NYT took at Texas.
